In addition to weekly film screenings, we've organized special events. We’ve hosted screenings of movies before their release to the general public on DVD, including Beginners, Melancholia, The Avengers, and Chasing Ice. We also engage academia at NU. During the Spring 2013 semester we hosted a lecture on Hitchcock and suspense with Professor Michael Dow and a lecture on climate change and climate extremes with Professor Auroop Ganguly.
